Najwa New Scots Carers Centre (SCIO) is a Glasgow-based, community-led Scottish charity founded and led by Doha Tahri Joutey Hassani. The organisation supports New Scots, carers, migrant and ethnic minority communities, with a particular focus on improving health and wellbeing, reducing inequalities, tackling isolation and strengthening inclusion and belonging.
Through culturally responsive support, advocacy, education, community activities and lived-experience-led engagement, Najwa works to ensure that people facing barriers can access support, participate in their communities and have their voices heard.
