Positioning within London’s Public Mental Health Landscape
Â
The Mindful Future Summit – London 2026 is a community-led convening focused on the intersection of artificial intelligence, women’s work and mental health through a life-course inequalities lens.
Â
Our approach aligns with London’s public mental health priorities, including:
•Reducing mental health inequalities
•Addressing structural determinants of wellbeing (housing, employment, income security, digital systems)
•Amplifying lived experience in policy-relevant spaces
•Supporting prevention-oriented, community-rooted dialogue
Â
We recognize that mental health is shaped not only by individual resilience, but by social, economic and technological environments. Women — particularly Black and minoritized women, migrant communities, unpaid carers and those in insecure work — often experience compounded stressors across the life course.
Â
The summit creates a structured, psychologically safe environment where:
•Community voice meets professional insight
•Structural pressures are examined without pathologizing individuals
•Public mental health literacy is strengthened
•Cross-sector conversations (technology, employment, community wellbeing) are facilitated responsibly
Â
We do not position the event as therapy or clinical intervention. Instead, it is a prevention-oriented civic dialogue space that acknowledges how systems shape wellbeing and seeks to build awareness, agency and informed community engagement.
Â
Safeguarding protocols, consent-based storytelling and clear signposting to statutory and voluntary services underpin our approach.
Â
Through this work, we aim to contribute to London’s broader mission of embedding mental health awareness within everyday systems and reducing life-course inequalities.
