Gaelle Roger is a Business Adviser at Business Gateway Edinburgh, bringing a rare combination of strategic economic expertise and lived entrepreneurial experience. Originally from France, her connection with Scotland began while studying International Business at the University of Edinburgh. She later built a career leading projects across economic development, global mobility, employability and recruitment before relocating her family to Edinburgh to co-found Chez Roger, a specialist importer of French artisan food and lifestyle products.

Launching the business just before the COVID-19 pandemic and navigating the challenges of Brexit, Gaelle developed first-hand expertise in resilience, cash flow management, supply chain agility and sustainable business growth. Today, as a proud New Scot, she supports Edinburgh’s business community through Business Gateway, helping entrepreneurs turn ideas into viable businesses.
