As the Creative Director at Summit-Gate and Summit Apartments, Ifeyinwa Dada is dedicated to helping women see themselves as unique and lovable beings. A certified makeup consultant and passionate youth coach, she guides women through self-rediscovery and mastering their appearance. Delegates will benefit from her insights into embracing one’s inner beauty and authenticity, aligning with the summit’s theme of empowerment.

Bio
Amina has more than 25 years’ experience in the cultural sector, including senior positions in public and academic libraries, third sector and the arts . She has a strong interest in diversity and inclusion and the role libraries, literature and culture play in empowering individuals and communities.
Amina is a Visiting Professor at Robert Gordon University, previous President of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Studies, a Lay Member of Court at University Dundee, a Trustee of Glasgow Women’s Library,
Scottish Library and Information Council, Friends of the National Libraries , the Institute of Advanced Studies in the Humanities at Edinburgh University and a member of the Advisory Boards for the British Library, The Huntarian Museum, Towards a National Collections (funded by AHRC) and DiSsCO (AHRC). Additionally she is the Chair of the Advisory Group for Common Purpose Edinburgh and Chair of the Legal Deposit Libraries of UK and Ireland.
She lives in Fife with her partner and four children and enjoys literature, art, music, long walks and spending time with family and friends.
Bio
Manira Ahmad has had a varied career history spanning both private and public sectors, focusing on systems, emotional architecture and the importance of lived experience. Manira has worked across the financial industry, involved in global workforce planning and investment in offshore trading.
She joined the public sector in 2015, and was appointed to lead the deployment of Local Intelligence across Health and Social Care. Supporting Integration Authorities in Scotland in co-designing linked data across multiple care sectors to support improved decision making for health and wellbeing.
Manira has been part of the design and development of Public Health Scotland, to deliver an organisation equipped to meet Scotland’s future public health challenges and developing a nation where everyone thrives.
Manira leads strategic programmes through a multi-disciplinary approach for Public Health. Manira continues to seek opportunities to collaborate across agency and sectors to bring innovative solutions using insights and lived experience to support communities across Scotland.
She is very passionate in supporting the wellbeing of individuals, working closely with communities to build local resilience through place-based approaches by shifting our thinking and the conversation to “what really matters”.
In her personnel time Manira sits on the Board for a number of local charity, education and community organisations focusing on inclusion, physical activity and reducing health inequalities.

My career has been devoted to excellence in the arts, education, and equity of opportunity for all. I am a sector expert in performing arts and education, corporate parenting, and systems leadership. I love nurturing people to embrace their talents for good.

Known as “The Boundary Breaker,” Keely Woolley empowers women in leadership to make a global impact. She assists them in overcoming self-doubt, reducing stress, increasing energy, and developing clear direction. Her presentation, “The Masquerade Party,” focuses on these themes. Delegates will gain practical tools to enhance their leadership skills and thrive authentically, resonating with the summit’s empowerment theme.

Alison Mair
Bio
My name is Alison Mair. I was born, raised and now live in Edinburgh, Scotland.
I work for the National Health Service as a Specialist Dietitian, specializing in children and adolescent mental health with a particular focus on eating disorders. I also.have worked in the areas of acute medicine. Community, adult mental health, weight management , and learning disabilities. I always have a professional and empathetic approach towards my clients, and strive to provide them with the appropriate tools achieve their best nutritional outcomes.
I have been married to my husband John for 31 years. We have 2 grown up children who both got married last year so we’re now “empty nesters”
I am an active member of a city centre church, and in my spare time I enjoy sewing, knitting, reading and baking. I try to get to the gym a couple of times a week. We share our home with 2 British Shorthair cats called River and Jensen. They provide lots of entertainment and are great companions.

Lorraine Weselby is an Arbonne Independent Consultant and Executive Regional Vice President. She empowers individuals to enhance their health, finances, mindset, community, and time freedom. Serving as the G100 Scotland Chair for Healthcare & Wellness and a WBL Santander Awarded Mentor, Lorraine brings a wealth of experience in personal development. Rebecca Mitchell Welsh is a UEFA-trained coach specializing in ADHD and trauma. Associated with Arumas Health Services, Jemima Nelson provides professional health advice, travel consultations, and vaccinations. Known as the “Sickle Cell Myth Crusher,” she is a nurse, occupational health specialist, and holds an MBA. Delegates will benefit from her expertise in health education and myth-busting, contributing to the summit’s focus on holistic wellbeing.

As an entrepreneur, she recently started her private healthcare consultancy & Pharmacy services contributing unique health solutions.
She continues to be involved in mentoring, training and assisting students, foundation year and colleagues in enjoying and thriving in pharmacy.
Poetry, storytelling and change management are her pastimes. She enjoys being a wife, mother to her 3 lovely young adults , and living her christian faith daily

Virginia (Vee) Toyi
Bio
Virginia “Vee” Toyi’s journey is one of resilience and empowerment. Beginning as a Microfinance Project Officer, she developed a passion for women’s economic empowerment. After relocating to the UK, she rebuilt from the ground up, pursuing studies in law and policy to advance social justice and advocacy. Today, Vee is a dedicated voice for women’s rights, championing equity, respect, and the recognition of women’s contributions in all spheres of life. Her work continues to uplift and empower women, ensuring they are heard, valued, and equipped to reach their full potential.
What Delegates Will Gain from Her Session
Vee will explore the power of women as leaders and changemakers, highlighting their role in driving social justice, equity, and transformation. Ramatu Umar Bako has many years of experience in international development with a focus on influencing and stakeholder management, community engagement, advocacy, equality, diversity and inclusion.
She has expertise in organizational development, project management, grant administration, institutional capacity building, audit and diagnostic review of governance structures, internal processes and financial management of the private and public sector.
She has an MEd Adult Education, Community Development and Youth Work from the University of Glasgow and an Msc Global Conflict and Peace Processes from the University of Aberdeen. She is a member of the elite Chevening alumni.
She has worked with various international organizations including the British Council as a Governance Manager and later, Portfolio Manager Public Diplomacy, Oxfam International as Head of Influencing and Public Engagement leading on the campaigns, advocacy and communications, and as Senior Gender and Equality Adviser at Save the Children International.
She currently works as an Engagement and Participation Network Lead where she coordinates the E&P Network and the Growth Pot Fund implementing the North Lanarkshire Engagement and Participation Strategy.

Angie Mwafulirwa is the founder of “Sharpen Her: the African Women’s Network” and “Young and Sharp.” With a strong background in human rights and community development, she holds a Master’s in Human Rights Law and a Postgraduate Diploma in Community Development from the University of Glasgow. Delegates will gain insights into effective community engagement and advocacy, aligning with the summit’s focus on social impact.

Patricia worked for Anniesland College for 25 years as a coordinator of their outreach centre in Ruchill.
She served as Secretary of the Glasgow Trades Union Council and was also a member of the STUC’s Women’s Committee. Patricia has a strong interest in promoting increased rights for those with disabilities, as well as a passion for eliminating violence against women and girls.

I am a graduate of Heriot watt University, having completed a masters degree in Interior Architecture and Design and a BA Honours in interior Design.
I am the founder and Director of SC Design House , an Interior and Architectural Design Firm in Livingston, Scotland.
I love working on Interior Design projects and turning them into beautiful spaces!
I love incorporating Biophilia into the spaces I design as I think ‘plant is life’ and it changes the aesthetic of the space and it has so many health benefits.
I have learned in life that no one is gonna hand you any rope, unless you get up and work for it, so this is me getting up and working for my rope!

Tracy Thomson
Bio
With 37 years in Banking, and more than 25 years in relationship management, Tracy’s experience of supporting businesses in delivering commercial and impact growth is well known in the world of social enterprise.
An advocate for building closed and trusted relationships with customers, Tracy supports community-led organisations as a Trustee on the board of Development Trusts Association Scotland. In addition, Tracy has recently joined the Postcode Lottery Innovation Trust Panel which has a mission to support charities and social enterprises to deliver impactful, innovative and engaging initiatives across Great Britain, and will be joining the board of the Aberdeen Lads Club as it works through a rebranding and renaming project while it continues to provide a range of children and youth services in Tillydrone and beyond.
Tracy was part of the Social & Community Capital Covid Response Fund supporting over 30 organisations who were responding to and supporting our communities during Covid, which won a Third Sector Award in September 2021 as a result of those efforts. When not being a doting auntie and grantie to her nieces and nephews and their children, Tracy enjoys good food, looking after her 2 beautiful cats or travelling the world with her husband Mike.

Fehintoluwa Olowoyeye, who is known either as ‘Toluwa or FT, is currently a Senior Analyst with Sopra Steria Group and holds over 15 years’ experience in Risk & Insurance, Data Analytics. A diligent and result-oriented individual with necessary industry and inter-personal skills, Fehintoluwa is an innovative, numerate and highly enthusiastic self-starter.
Asides her professional accomplishments, Fehintoluwa’s interest in natural ingredients got her starting her hair and beauty products, Hadassah Myrtle Beauty Products; her love for exploring new places resulted in Layo Travels, a travel agency; and her artistic skills has resulted in a partnership called Gifts & Bows, a gifts and corporate events partnership with a friend.
When Fehintoluwa isn’t busy with work or business, she’s volunteering at her children’s school, or at the West Lothian African Women’s Network (WLAWN). She is happily married and blessed with children.

Temitope Salami - Ajayi
Bio
Temitope Ajayi-Salami, fondly known as Temi, is a dynamic entrepreneur and cultural advocate based in Dunfermline, Fife. Born in Nigeria, Temi holds a Law degree from Lagos State University and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2010. Her entrepreneurial journey began in 2003, selling accessories during her university days. Over the years, she expanded her ventures to include Cutie’s Wardrobe, an online retail store, and in 2018, she established a poultry and catfish farming business, where she empowered women through training in sustainable farming.
After relocating to Scotland in 2021, Temi identified a gap in the market and founded AYT Foods in December 2023—the first African-Caribbean grocery store in Fife. AYT Foods has become a cultural hub, connecting communities and celebrating diversity. Beyond business, Temi launched a culturally sensitive food bank in 2024 and actively mentors women in entrepreneurship, contributing to both social and cultural impact.
Her dedication has earned her several accolades, including the Global Recognition Award, the Forty Under 40 UK Award, and the LUX-Life Retail Award. Temi’s vision is to expand AYT Foods into a one-stop cultural hub that celebrates Afro-Caribbean heritage while continuing to uplift her community.
